Pics of Life

Some great random shots of the kids playing.  It's great to be able to spend some time outside again and not be cooped up.

The dogs have found a new place to invade.  I'm 100% cool with it,
since it is my side of the bed that they are leaving.
 Give me that camera!

Date Night #5

Our May date night was a low-key in home date.  I scheduled it that way because May tends to get super busy and relaxing at home sounded great.  We started the day at a birthday party for one of Annika's friends and then dropped the kids off around noon at Jan & Greg's.  Usually having this extra time would have been great.  However I was feeling pretty crummy so we did a little shopping at Target and headed home so I could take a nap.  When I finally felt good enough to get out of bed it was time for dinner so we called our favorite little hot dog place for some yummy dogs.  BBQ and pickles, eggs and bacon, add hot dogs and you have one delicious dinner.  Plus, they deliver!  Next we rented a movie and then off to bed.  Not the most exciting date but not having the kids and just relaxing was the best thing for me because I felt 100% better by the next day.  Since that was the case, we took the extra time and went to one of our favorite breakfast places, The Classic Cookie, and had a yummy breakfast.

Mother's Day

Once Again on Mother's Day we did the Mother's Day 5K.  Jan and Kristen joined us and we had a great time.  Annika stayed in the stroller until it was time to cross the finish line and then we walked so she could get a necklace.  I also grabbed Asher and he walked across with us.  After the race we stopped for breakfast and then just hung out at home.  It was a pretty low key day, which was fine with me.
