Fountains

On Saturday morning we went to Crown Center and let Annika play in the fountains. She was pretty timid at first by once she figured out what was going on, she had a great time. I had never been to the fountains before and they were a great place for kids to play and cool off.











Annika had so much fun she wore herself out. Such a sweet girl.

4th of July

We had a great day on the 4th of July. Unfortunately, I did not take many pictures, and the ones I did take did not come out very well. Annika did love the fireworks and had so much fun watching them.

Church

This is the church where my mom and dad got married. It was destroyed in the tornado in Joplin. It is simply amazing that the only thing left is the cross. Even through the horrible destruction, this is beautiful.

Cousins

Trying to get a picture of all three of them smiling is next to impossible. But, I do love having pictures of them, even without the smiles!

Sharing

Annika wanted to share her cookie with Grandma.

Really?

We were at my mom's a few weeks ago and Annika decided to go into the dog kennel. I forgot about these pictures unitl just now. They are too funny. We had to lock the kennel to keep her out of it.

Popcicle

We gave Annika a popcicle. She thought it was fun. So did Thor.

Summer Fun

Annika loves to be outside and now that the weather is crazy hot, she loves to be in the pool. We bought a little one that is perfect for her and we had some fun tonight pouring water on her head. Every time the water would hit her head she would scream and then laugh. She loved it so much she started doing it by herself. So great.

Dresses

I have this great friend Jody. Not only is she one of the nicest people I have ever met, she is also one of the most talented. She started making dresses for her sweet Kylie and now Annika gets to wear them. I love this pink and purple dress so much. It is one of my favorite dresses and if I could, Annika would probably wear it every day! The two dresses at the bottom are made from t-shirts of mine I had from Derek's swimming. I can't wait to have Annika wear them to a swim meet!

Visit #2

Last weekend we had another great visit from family. Annika got to spend some quality time with her great-grandparents John & Marilyn as well as her great-aunt and uncle, Kelly and Ed. We had a great time but I only managed to get one picture. I know Kelly took a ton, so as soon as I get them, I'll post more.

Visit #1

A couple of weekends ago, Zeke had a baseball tournament in Olathe. This meant we got to spend some great time with the whole family. It was fun to get to hang out with them, plus we got to see Zeke play some great baseball.
