The beginning of the beginning of the beginning of the end (of the beginning)
Okay, so at our regular OB appointment on Tuesday, our wonderful doctor seemed to take pity on Monica's predicament: broken left arm, superficial thrombosis in her left leg and developing on her right, and the swelling of her legs that did not get better after being confined to the couch and the bed for a few weeks. She consulted with a Perinatologist and decided that inducing her would be the best way, rather than to continue the misery. I am currently writing from the hospital, where we are waiting patiently for the medication to start the induction process and hopefully our daughter will make her debut before the weekend :)

My goodness, poor Monica..you have been through a lot recently. Praying for a healthy baby and as smooth a delivery as possible.

I was induced with Vivi, too. Mine only took 12 hours so hopefully you'll get to meet your beautiful princess later today. (and I wasn't dilated or having contractions at all prior) Love ya, miss ya and thinking of ya!
